In April 2026, CorTec’s Brain Interchange received acceptance into the FDA Total Product Life Cycle Advisory Program (TAP), following the FDA Breakthrough Device Designation granted earlier the same month. A third participant has been successfully implanted at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle as part of the ongoing NIH-funded, FDA-approved clinical trial.
